Various Photos Taken Since The Car Accident:

These photos were taken of my body after the temporary spinal cord stimulator implant and this was done on July 12, 2005. The leads were removed on July 16,2005 and the implant surgery was scheduled for August 4, 2005.

I had the surgery at University Hospital on August 4, 2005. It was very painful but it worked. The device completely blocked the nerve pain in my left leg. 100 percent success. Unfortunately that was the only pain it worked on. Dr. Bullard could not get the leads advanced to T-10 like he wanted. That would have relieved all pain from the waist down.

It took a long time to recover from this surgery and it played havoc with the myofacial pain and fibromyalgia. I lost my job because of this. They laid me off while I was still on FMLA. I complained to the US Department of Labor. This department agreed with me that they laid me off because of my illness, the long recovery from the surgery and they did not want to make the changes I requested for Reasonable Accomodations.

So if you faint at the sight of blood and/or needles don't look.

Okay figured how to upload photos now.

The photo at the top is me with my newest grandson. It was taken a few weeks after my heart attack in March 2006. It worked out well he and I; we both slept a lot back then. He is awake more now at 6 months. Me I still sleep 12 to 15 hours a day.
